Our cut proof glove range varies from cut level A-F  (cut level 1-5 under the old EN388 standard).

The EN388 standard tests the

  1. abrasion, cut tear and puncture of a glove.

The scores are rated from level 1-4, the higher the number the better the glove.

Cut resistance used to be rated from level 1-5 but now operates a letter system of cut level A-F, level F offering the highest level of cut protection.

Cut-proof gloves are made of special composite materials in combination with stainless steel mesh, fibreglass, and synthetic high-performance yarns.
